Room Rentals

The Library has two spaces that may be available for rent during regular library hours. Library hours are 10:00am - 8:00pm Monday through Friday, 10:00am - 5:00pm Saturday and Sunday. 

Friends of the Library Program Room
Dimensions: 43' x 19'
Capacity: 57 with alcohol, 90 without alcohol
$200 per day or $40 per hour

  • Flip chart (felt pens not provided)

Program Room and Meeting Room
$250 per day or $60 per hour

Local non-profit groups receive 25% off regular rental rates. Non-profit groups that are not local are subject to regular rental rates. 
Payment is by cash or cheque only. Cheques can be made payable to the Canmore Public Library. Payment of the rental fee and damage deposit is required one week prior to the event. We do not currently accept debit or credit cards. A rental agreement form will be emailed once your booking is confirmed.
Any special requirements (equipment, chairs, tables, etc...) must be requested at the time of booking. 
A deposit of $100 is required and should be a separate cheque that will be destroyed following an inspection of the space after the event.
If cancelling this booking, you are required to give the Library 48 hours notice. Bookings cancelled less than 48 hours before the event are subject to a cancellation fee of $50.
