Through her research and professional career, Sarah Elmeligi has come to appreciate bears in a new light, seeing them as more than just data points and graphs or newspaper articles. Join Sarah as she shares excerpts from her new book, What Bears Teach Us. Sarah will talk about the science behind how bears learn and how they learn to coexist with people. When we as people consider the bears' perspective, we can see the landscape and their relationship with us differently, which moves us closer to coexistence as individuals and as a community.

This event will be held through Zoom.
