Please join us for an evening with Blackfoot multidisciplinary artist and writer, Jared Tailfeathers!

Jared will be presenting and reading from his latest book The Art of Making: Rediscovering the Blackfoot Legacy which was published by Durvile & UpRoute. In this work, Jared reconnects with his Indigenous heritage through a hands-on, land-based exploration of the rich history and culture of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the traditional methods used to make art, tools, textiles, and music. For more information about the book, visit the Durvile & UpRoute website.

Cafe Books will be joining us for the event and will have copies of The Art of Making: Rediscovering the Blackfoot Legacy available for purchase. Copies of the book can also be borrowed through the TRAC system.

All ages are welcome! Drop in; no registration required.

This event will take place from 6:00 - 7:30pm on Thursday, October 24th in the Friends Program Room.
