You're invited to the Friends of the Canmore Library's BYOB Book Club! (Bring your Own Book)
Sponsored by the Friends of the Canmore Library Society, this informal book club will have it's first meeting on Wednesday November 6 at 6:30pm in the Friends Program Room.
Please note: you do NOT have to be a member of the Friends to join us at this book club! This program is open to the general public, and everyone is welcome!
Participate in an informal get-together of people who would like to talk about a book (or two) that they have particularly enjoyed. It will give all of us a chance to add to our list of books we want to read or maybe even get some ideas for Christmas shopping. If you have a copy of the book, bring it along and if not, just come with the title and author.
You do not have to have read the same book at the same time as other people! Rather, attendees are invited to recommend and discuss books they’ve enjoyed reading (or have not enjoyed reading). It's an opportunity to hear about books you may be interested in exploring…or avoiding. Even if you have nothing to recommend, you are welcome to join us to listen to comments from fellow readers.
Join in person at the Canmore Library or click here to join virtually over Zoom!
