The Friends of the Canmore Library are hosting a Summer Book Sale. Advance sale for Friends of the Library members is Wednesday, August 10. General public admission to the sale runs from Thursday, August 11 to Saturday, August 13.
Children from birth to walking, along with their parents/caregivers, are invited to a half-hour program featuring finger plays, rhymes, bouncing songs, walking songs and books. This program is a drop in opportunity that welcomes new and experienced parents for a chance to listen, learn and develop new community bonds.
Join us on Tuesdays from 2:00 - 4:00pm each week this summer for crafts related to the Summer Reading Game. These themed sessions will appeal to young crafters from ages 5 -12.
Walking babies and toddlers, along with their parent/caregivers, are invited to a half-hour program featuring active rhymes, music, movement and books. We welcome new and experienced parents for a chance to listen, discover new stories and make new connections.
Junior Librarians allows children 8-12 a peek behind the scenes and gain hands on experience with library tasks. Working alongside library staff, children will be guided through programs that encompass a wide variety of library activities.
Children 3-5 years old, along with their parent/caregivers, are invited to a half-hour program featuring rhymes, action-songs, and books. Storytime is also live streamed on Zoom, and we welcome all friends to join us however they feel comfortable.
Join us on Fridays from 2:00 - 4:00 for themed games and activities. Children aged 9 - 12 are welcome to come and test their skills.
